✨✨Fairy Tales Chinese Bun Party✨✨
這個星期異常安靜,這是因為我將所有的free time,全都走到Jan老師的studio,去研究中式饅頭。
自從坡坡同學和朋友去學了一節中式饅頭課之後,覺得這個題目很有趣,可塑性非常高,非常鼓勵Jan老師和我們一起試玩。
可是我倆學的專業是西式甜點,對於中式點心,真是完全沒概念,而且一竅不通。於是坡坡同學拍心口,叫老師儘管出設計圖,她負責幫大家計算好所有手的時間。而團友Cathy的Miss Little最喜歡吃可愛的包點,於是她也快樂地一起過來參與研究。
於是我們的童話系列饅頭聚會,就這樣出現了。
一向都知道搓包是和發酵時間鬥快的競賽。從前在學校做brioche時的款式,是要認真背熟所有動作,二發之後拿麵團出來,一刻都不能想,要埋首苦幹才能趕得及完成。想不到饅頭的原理也差不多,但今次面對的卻是複雜的小紅帽設計圖和一大堆配件。
開始的時候,我們幾個團友實在無計可施。Jan老師略略用fondant原理來講解圖樣,我們才有些頭緒。儘管之後瘋狂用摩打手來追趕進度,可惜實在拖了太多的時間,有一半製成品都over-proved了。
知道問題所在,我們繼續再接再厲。打開Mermaid的設計圖,略略討論一下每個步驟所需的技法,便立即開始了。今次的圖樣比小紅帽稍為簡單,又有坡坡同學不停提醒要做好time management,我們都非常緊張地瘋狂衝刺。結果今次在分工合作,每人集中精神做一款之下,終於比較成功了。
雖然我們還未能完全掌握到竅門,但在瘋狂練習下,開始總結到一點心法了。下星期獨自在家練習一下,看看能否做得更純熟。
做完所有的饅頭練習後,久違了的坡坡廚房再次出動了!坡坡同學見我們的烘焙主題如此中式,於是也設計一些清淡中菜來貫徹主題。是晚坡坡的私房餐單是:

🌿蝶豆藍芒果糯米飯
坡坡大廚揮灑自如地控制著整個場面,我們幾位團友努力配合幫手,不消一會,整桌香噴噴的飯菜便做好了!這次的餸菜非常精彩,連在旁等食的小小孩,看到如此豐富的餸菜都滿心期待。
Cheer🥂每次和大鳥胃團友們興奮地舉杯拍照,是整晚最高潮的一刻。能夠和一班好友們吃吃喝喝談天說地,真是這幾年繃緊生活的最佳減壓方法。

The macadamias that I used in this video are from Australia! I got a bag of roasted unsalted macadamias and it tasted amazing as it is. You can easily make macadamia milk by yourself but there are lots of options on the market recently. Plant -based milk is becoming the majority day by day isn't it? :)

Ingredients:
for the cookies :
340g pastry flour
60g almond flour
200g butter flavored coconut oil
110g beet sugar
100g macadamia nuts
for the latte :
50g macadamia nuts
250g water
20g coffee beans
Instructions:
1. put pastry flour, almond flour, butter flavored coconut oil and beet sugar together in a food processor and mix until it forms crumbles.
2. add macadamia nuts and shape them into your favorite shape. put them in a freezer for an hour.
3. bake cookies at 180C/356F for 20 minutes.
4. make macadamia milk and brew espresso then make latte.
5. Enjoy!

「材料」
マカダミアクッキー:
薄力粉 340g
アーモンドプードル 60g
バターフレイバーココナッツオイル 200g
てん菜糖 110g
マカダミアナッツ 100g
マカダミアナッツラテ:
マカダミアナッツ 50g
水 250g
コーヒー豆 20g
「作り方」
1、薄力粉、アーモンドプードル、ココナッツオイル、てん菜糖とフードプロセッサーにかけ、ダマになるまで撹拌する。
2、マカダミアナッツを加え、好きな形状に整えたら冷凍庫で1時間ほど冷やす。
3、180℃で20分ほど焼く。
4、マカダミアナッツミルクを作り、エスプレッソを淹れてラテを作る。
5、エンジョーイ!

Made fairy wings with friends at home for a birthday celebration!

My two friends Kit and Amanda are both having their birthdays around the same time, so weeks ago we decided to have a joint birthday celebration for them. But, as the second/third (idek?!) wave of covid hit, everything has been brought to a stand still.
But we decided to stick to making the costumes for the heck of it. So here we all are, at my house, making fairy wings. Well, some of us were making them. hehe
We also tried to skin a pineapple... Based on a video we had seen on instagram. lol. Spoiler alert. Epic fail! Not sure if that is how you are supposed to peel a pineapple, but I can safely say that that is NOT how i will be doing it in future. LMAO.
The final workout from the series was very straight forward as we were finishing on the weekend and weekends, I always promise an easier workout. So the line up for the full body workout was:
1. Curtsy Lunges

3. Squat Jacks
4. Punch Crunch
5. Donkey Kicks
6. Plank Jacks
7. Lying Leg Lifts
8. Log Jumps
9. Calf Raises

I couldn't even believe a chunk of my tooth came out! Guess this is what you get for not going to the dentist this year ?
Had a coffee with 2 of my Flyproject Colleagues and chatted about the Flycycle Virtual Classes and how this will probably be the new normal from now on.
Then went to see another 2 friends - who are also my ex-colleagues from Mindflux - for a birthday catch up session.
And then back home in time for my MCO1000 workout:
