講到爵士吉他的Chord Melody，大家一般想到的大概就是Joe Pass
或者是Martin Taylor
當然除了他們這種Walking bass , fingerstyle的方式之外，還有一種是更傳統的，以刷弦方式為主，這種手法比較適合跟著樂團一起演奏（音量跟情緒上比較強烈）。若適時的加上Bass音，也是可以詮釋獨奏慢歌
這種手法的佼佼者像是Barney Kessel , George Benson , Wes Montgomery等

Growing up in the UK as a mixed-race child meant sometimes being put in uncomfortable situations by others because of the way I look. This song is about seeing one of my other non-white school friends being beaten by a bully after he refused to give up his lunch money. I wrote this song to try and turn a negative experience into a positive one，even though my friend was beaten so badly his memory was affected，one day he meets a girl that he will love forever，and can never forget because she becomes part of him - so the story begins with his bones crumbling beneath the fists of the bully，but ends with his love being so engrained in him，she will be part of him even when he is just crumbling bones in the ground.

在英國長大的混血小孩並不是一件容易的事情，這首歌講的就是我另外一个非白人的同學因為拒絕交出他的午餐錢被校园霸凌欺負毆打。但這首歌我還是希望賦予它一些正能量，男孩被打個半死，記憶也衰退，但有一天他遇到一個讓他無法忘記的女孩，像當年被打碎的骨頭一樣，已經變成他不可分割的一部分

This is some raw footages from our humble private wedding, on April 2019. This video means a lot to me. I edited this video all by myself with full laughter and tears of happiness. **Don Ross 個人簡介**
出生於1960年的 Don Ross 是加拿大一位頗負盛名的 Fingerstyle 吉他手 ,
也是當今 Fingerstyle 吉他界新一代的創作革新者 , 八歲開始接觸吉他 ,
十歲接受古典吉他的洗禮並開始創作 , 1983年畢業於多倫多的 York University
音樂系 , 受到 Leo Kottke 和 Michael Hedges 的影響頗深 , 單單從Don Ross
的編曲和演奏技巧而言他已經跳脫傳統的侷限 , 進而脫穎而出表演一種屬於個
人的特殊音樂風格 , 也可說來自於本身對音樂律動的直覺靈感 , 融合 New Age,
Jazz,Folk,Rock and Classical 音樂的新體驗 , 給予人一種愉悅輕快的徐旋律 ,
更值得一提的就是 , Don Ross 是從1979年開始到目前為止 , 唯一位得過兩次
美國國家 Fingerstyle吉他大賽冠軍得主(分別為1988和1996年) .
