See a Mighty Jesus
“In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew. One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!” The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.” (Isaiah 6:1-4 WEB)
Picture this majestic vision. The mortal king of Israel had just died, and the Lord Christ revealed Himself, seated on His throne of glory which was high and lifted up, and the train of His robes filled the whole temple. The longer the train, the more honorable the king is—it was a picture of the supreme ruler. The King of kings and Lord of lords!
No mortal king rules forever, so regardless of who rules in Israel, Christ is the ultimate king who is watching over the nation, protecting it from all her enemies.
We can benefit from seeing Jesus in His love and Grace, and also from seeing Him in His power and authority. However, the former is more important to be established in first because without having a sense of being loved by Him, you will be afraid of Him due to the latter.
Behold Jesus in His power. Can any enemy stand against a God like that? He is Yahweh of Armies, who commands the seraphim, the cherubim, the four living creatures, the chariots of fire, and all the heavenly armies. The natural elements of this world like the wind and waves obey His word, and nothing can resist His command.
When we magnify the Lord in our hearts, we won’t fear the enemies because the greatness of our God overshadows the problems we face in life.
What does the passage mean when it says that “the house was filled with smoke”? This smoke is the smoke from the altar of incense, which is a picture of the prayers being offered up by the nation of Israel. The people were crying out for God to help them, and that is why the temple was filled with smoke—the many prayers of the people.
“The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says. Won’t God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”” (Luke 18:6-8 WEB)
God is being patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance in Christ Jesus. There is a day of vengeance coming, which is the period of time called the Tribulation and the Day of Christ, and it will be horrible for the inhabitants of this earth who have not received Jesus Christ as Lord. We won’t be going through the Tribulation, but we will be returning to earth with Jesus on the Day of Christ (popularly known as the Second Coming).
Our Lord is not coming back as a meek Lamb, but as the mighty Lion of the tribe of Judah.
“I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself. He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called “The Word of God.” The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen. Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.”” (Revelation 19:11-16 WEB)
We have to change the picture of the ascended Jesus we have in our minds. He is no longer the bleeding and suffering man of sorrows who was so injured that He fell from the weigh of the cross that He was carrying.
He is now high and lifted up, back on His throne of glory, with all the heavenly armies at His command. In fairy tales, there is often a handsome prince on a white horse that whisks the damsel in distress away to a happy ending where they ride away together into the sunset. Where did humans get this picture from?
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEB)
God has set eternity into the hearts of men. Jesus is the prince who will save Israel from her oppressors. When you think of Jesus today, see a mighty King who commands the heavenly armies to fight your battles for you. He does this because He loves you!

Remember God After You Have Prospered
“You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers. You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not. He humbled you, and allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know; that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth. Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years. You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you. You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey; a land in which you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper. You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you. Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today; lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses, and lived in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; then your heart might be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint; who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know; that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end: and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.” But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today.” (Deuteronomy 8:1-18 WEB)
The Lord gave me a word “scorpions” which led me to this passage.
I sense that a lot of us here have been through a long wilderness journey where we have been asking God “How long more,” and we are already close to entering our promised land.
As we are about to enjoy His marvelous restoration and multiplication of provision in our lives, in whatever way He has been leading you, REMEMBER HIM when you go into the land flowing with milk and honey.
Don’t forget all the precious lessons about humility and faith that you learned while in the dry wilderness.
Money can be destructive because the sinful flesh is tempted to make money its idol.
Keep your eyes on Jesus…
There is a reason why things take time. The preparation phase is needed so that you would be able to handle the sudden multiplication.
Despite all the tough times, God has always been faithful to you, and you are still alive. Give thanks to Him!
Under the New Covenant of Grace, to keep God’s commandments means to believe in Jesus Christ and to love one another as Christ has loved us. Will you allow yourself to continue being led by the Spirit to walk in love, even after you have prospered?
I say again, REMEMBER HIM. Okay, now go and possess your promised land. The Lord shall go before you, and you will approach it one step at a time with each passing day!

This was my Goodbye Letter.
In 2013, I was on my balcony, writing this song. This was before I realised the severity of my depression.
I decided to release this original English version today, not for only mental health and suicide awareness, but also as an act of reaching my hand out to anyone who’s been there, or is struggling now. I felt really alone that night, and I don’t want anyone else to ever feel that way.
You are never alone. There is always hope, always a guarantee that life will get better. I know I say this a lot, but I truly am living proof that happiness is possible after such darkness.
This song is very heavy, and in all honesty, I’m pretty darn scared to share it with you all. Because it’s just too personal.
But I made a commitment a few years ago to share my story in order to help others, and I’ll continue to proudly be a part of this movement. We must talk openly about these things, in order to change the stigma around it.
It is okay not to be okay. It is okay to be struggling.
We’ll get there. Life is oh so beautiful. I promise you!
PS
“3 years later I am here today…”
The end of this song was recorded 3 years after my darkest night (it still took me a while to be ready to share this with everyone), and I am so happy to say NOW? 6 years later! I am STILL here today!!

Tonight
Composed by Lesley Chiang / Yu
Lyrics by Lesley Chiang
Produced by Team One Sound / Lesley Chiang
Starting to really think
That I am really sick
I’m unhappy everyday
And the only thing that will really make me feel okay
Is if I just keep on lying
“Everything is fine.”
And you are still my man
Don’t ever want nobody to know that our love has ended
I do not know how I have sank so low and
I cannot let go
I’m incomplete
I feel like it is time
As If I had just died
This pain goes on
So endlessly
I have lost my mind
Pathetic little piece of shit
Not even strong enough to face this
I know my place this time
I’m just your fan, a nobody
I won’t stand in your way
Say goodbye tonight
I’m leaving tonight
Our story ends tonight
Tell me, where did I go?
It’s like I’ve lost my soul
I can’t feel the love no more
Is there even a reason why I should keep living on?
So much time has gone
And I still can’t move on
Would it even be a threat
If I say to you that I really just might go and end it?
I should mean more to you
I was right there for you
I still think our break was incomplete
I will give you more time
I’ll reflect and rewind
I will love you endlessly
I have lost my mind
Pathetic little piece of shit
Not even strong enough to face this
I know my place this time
I’m just your fan, a nobody
I won’t stand in your way
Say goodbye tonight
I’m leaving tonight
Our story…
It’s my one last try
To make things alright
My heartbreak ends tonight
3 years later I am here today
Can I just say that
I am still alive

PHILADELPHIA — Allen Iverson, with his tattoos, cornrows and hip-hop persona, ended up in the center of a celebratory group hug with the fans in the expensive courtside seats at Wachovia Center.
Seconds earlier, with just 3.3 seconds remaining in overtime and the scored tied, Iverson jumped in front of Jarvis Hayes’ inbound pass near midcourt and raced home for a layup, securing a 116-114 victory for the Philadelphia 76ers over the Washington Wizards.
Iverson, who finished with 28 points, 13 assists and no turnovers, could not contain his elation at game’s end. He raised his hand to his ear as if to let the 17,516 “Black Friday” fans know he couldn’t hear them. He then jumped on the seats in the first row, threw his hands around the shoulders of any fan who would fit and whooped it up with the smiling group as the 76ers (6-6) celebrated a win over the Wizards (6-5), whose three-game winning streak ended.
The scene, involving one of the biggest yet most controversial stars in the league, stood in stark contrast to the incident involving the Indiana Pacers’ Ron Artest, Jermaine O’Neal and Stephen Jackson and the rogue Detroit Pistons fans, who engaged in one of the ugliest rumbles in the history of American professional sports Nov.19.
“I hope I don’t get fined or suspended for going in the stands, but I think my reason was a good one,” Iverson said. “It was just special. They were right there. Without them I don’t think we would have had the momentum to be able to get over the hump after those guys hit big shot after big shot. Hopefully, fans will remember it and cherish it for the rest of their lives.”
The Wizards will remember it. Cherishing it is something altogether different.
Washington played the game while coach Eddie Jordan mended in a Washington-area hospital following the discovery of blood clot in his left calf Thanksgiving Day.
“I spoke to him before the game,” said assistant coach Mike O’Koren, who filled in for Jordan. “He’s doing a lot better. He’s fine. He’s coming along, but it’s going to take some time.”
Barring complications, Jordan will return to the bench Wednesday when the Wizards play host to New Jersey.
In their failed attempt to win their fourth game in a row for the first time in nearly three years, the Wizards erased Philadelphia’s 91-82 lead in the final six minutes of regulation, then forced overtime when Hayes (18 points, seven rebounds) split two defenders from 26 feet and drilled one of the Wizards’ 10 3-pointers to send the game to overtime tied 103-103.
Antawn Jamison led the Wizards, who packed the box score with his fifth double-double (27 points, season-high 15 rebounds) of the season. Larry Hughes had a spectacular game, scoring 20 points to go with 12 rebounds and nine assists. Gilbert Arenas added 20 points, and Brendan Haywood finished with his second double-double (14 points, season-high 14 boards) in the loss.
“I don’t think we could have played any better,” said Arenas, who was Hayes’ intended target on the final inbound pass and thought he was fouled on Iverson’s steal. “He went through me to get the ball. So they let him get the ball to see if he could make it in two seconds, which he did. So you can’t do anything about it.”
Hayes also thought Arenas might have been fouled on the play. But the Wizards made their share of mistakes along the way including 17 turnovers that led to 23 points, compared with Philadelphia’s eight that led to seven.
“It’s tough,” Hayes said. “God almighty, it’s tough. It’s one of those things that seems almost a backbreaker. But we’ve got practice tomorrow, and then we’ve got to play at Toronto.”
While Iverson starred for the 76ers, he was not a one-man show. Kyle Korver shot 6-for-12 from behind the 3-point arc to finish with career highs in points (26) and rebounds (eight). Center Marc Jackson finished with 21 points and eight rebounds. And reserves John Salmons (16) and Samuel Dalembert (13) combined to give the 76ers bench a 38-22 scoring advantage.
But Iverson’s play and the ensuing victory celebration overshadowed everything else.
“Games that end like that always hurt you the most,” said Hughes, who spent his first two years in the NBA as Iverson’s teammate in Philadelphia. “That’s what he does. I know that he liked the angle he had to the ball. For a guy who likes to steal the ball, that was the perfect pass.”

5 years and 7 months in Vietnam.
I wish I could live there longer, but in order for me to have the future that I want, I need to change the direction of my life and leave.
First, I have been living off and using the money I have made from teaching in order to grow my channel by constantly producing videos. It was an investment that hasn’t had much financial rewards, but I have gained priceless friendships and experiences. Everything happens for a reason. This lifestyle has been possible for the past few years when I decided to focus more on YouTube full time thing. However, it just hasn’t worked out as I thought it would. YouTube earnings are just too low. Other business ventures designed to keep the YouTube channel functioning has not been successful. I am not very good at business. T-shirts and tour endorsements have not been doing well and I refuse to be too commercialized on my channel and try to sell too many things because it takes away from my artistic commitments. Remember, I did YouTube for fun and to share moments with my friends and family. I want to return to those days where it was a hobby for me.
Second, my parents are getting older and so am I. As an only son, I have to own up to certain responsibilities and I cannot live a life and in a place that constantly worries my mother. Despite everything that I have shown and proven about how modern and safe Vietnam can be, even after hundreds and hundreds of videos of Vietnam, my mother still cannot be convinced. I am her only son after all. So in her eyes, anywhere but Vietnam, which is fine. Easing her worry would make her happier. Plus, with the recent deaths of my grandfather, cousin’s husband, and my uncle, it made me realize more than ever that reconnecting with my parents when I do have the chance is a smart idea.
Third, I am obsessed with progress. I want to develop myself professionally further. I want to obtain a master’s degree, I want to try background acting, I want to gain the skills that would make me a better well rounded individual and leaving Vietnam would give me different perspectives. I loved teaching and value education dearly. If the situation was right for me and conditions were more proper, I wouldn’t mind returning to it one day- but not in Vietnam. I’ve taught in Vietnam already. Change is good. And I know you guys think that I have an amazing dream life, and I really think so too, but it just wasn’t sustainable enough for me to risk my 30s unless something major happens. I know America or Europe might be boring, but it’s not to me. Not yet at least.
But, the bottom line is, I’ve done it. I’ve traveled extensively in Vietnam and have brought you so many new and familiar places. I’m proud of that. I’m proud that I was committed and passionate to something with vigor. Vietnam just wasn’t an experience for me. It was my life. I am so happy to have been able to share parts of my life through cinematography with you guys. Thank you for caring about me and if you hate my guts, then I still hope these videos over the years have been at least a little bit valuable to you as they have been to me and my life.
I am incredibly sorry if this news makes anyone feel disappointed. It was not an easy decision to make and again, I am so sorry. I still want to make videos as a hobby and not as a job. After so many years and almost two years of almost full time work, it just isn’t where I need it to be. So instead of riding the ship until it sinks or become stale, I rather change course. I haven’t been able to do that for myself now yet, so I want to pivot and change. I will try my best to release as many videos as possible moving forward because there is still a lot of great Vietnam related content backed up and waiting to be edited. However, in the future if I cannot consistently release videos- weekly or twice a month or something, then I will end my Patreon and no longer accept contributions for videos….Again, thank you to everyone who supported me on Patreon. Every dollar goes back to video creating. I have tried my best to keep doing this for as long as I can, but it is time for me to pivot. Not quit, pivot. Stay tuned many more videos coming your way! You don’t want to miss out!
I will also be in Italy in a few days. If anyone is in Europe, especially anywhere in Eastern Europe and can host me or just meet up and share stories with me, please reply back to this. The same goes for anyone in America as well. I will try to visit as many American cities as possible to understand America and Canada a lot more. If anyone can offer me a couch or even a floor, I would be much appreciative of that.
If there’s any questions or concerns, feel free to write me. Thank you again for your support. This is a very sad, scary, but exciting time for me and I sincerely appreciate you guys being a part of my life.
