I was out to tapao my favourite chap fan just outside my place. When I reached there, to my horror, I saw an Indian man without any face mask at all, standing over all the food and talking to the shopkeeper while telling him which dish to scoop for him. Why didn't the shopkeeper enforce the mask wearing? I immediately felt disgusted and left to another place.

Yesterday while I was looking for a parking spot, i saw a bunch of chinese taxi driver all sitting by the roadside, having a smoking session and some laughs, ALL of them did not wear their face mask. sigh.

On the way back, I saw 2 Malay grabfood drivers having a chat with each other on, next to their bikes, while waiting for their orders to be ready. Yeap, they took of their mask and stood face to face with each other TO HAVE A NICE CHAT.

I'm sure you would have come across these scenarios at least once before.

Why? Why do all these people still think that it is okay to go about their daily lives without face mask? It triggers me so much to see all these happening around me. Is it lack of education? These people could be someone's dad or someone's relative. So maybe, please educate and teach your family and friends that it is so important to follow simple SOPs to break the chain. Maybe they don't know. What's worst is if they know but yet completely disregard it, until one of their family members die from it. But then it would already be too late. It only takes one of them to be infected in a gathering of friends, which in turn will cause it to spread to their family members.

Covid doesn't care whether you are chinese, indian, malay, etc. It infects and kills all the same. Whats worst, if it doesn't harm you, it harms your family members - all because you thought it was okay and no need to wear mask and social distance. Can you live with the consequences of causing one of your family members to be gone for good?

Pisses me of to see all these still happening around me even after nearly 2 years of not getting better from this situation. Please guys, we can do better.

I am deeply saddened, disturbed, disgusted and shattered by this article. It broke my heart in every way.

This asshole of a father has conditioned and brainwashed his child to think that it is ok to perform sexually deeds, not only at such a young age, but also to her own father! Our role as parent is to protect and nurture our child. Who else can they trust if they can't even trust their own parent? He robbed her of her innocence and purity. He ruined her since she was 3! 3! Some kids cant even speak properly at 3. And he already started molesting her and started letting her watch porn of father and daughter performing sexual acts together. He's is a f*cking monster!

She doesn't know what he's done to her. Not at this age. Bcos she's been conditioned to think that this is what fathers and daughters do. But when shes older and aware, thats when. I prayed and i sent light to this innocent soul.

I feel my my boil again as I'm writing this!

I want to bring awareness to how important mental health is! It is not a taboo to seek help in a psychologists or psychiatrists! It is ok and it shouldn't be an option if your condition is causing harm to someone else, or even to yourself!

Theres just been so many horrible ases recently. It's heartbreaking. So many innocent lives are lost and ruined. And it could all have been prevented! So, if you know someone who needs help, pls convince them with all your might. The world can be such a dangerous and dark place. We all need to do better for ourselves, for others and for our future generations!

And may i add, for some of them, the sentences are just way too forgiving! Some of them do not deserve such light sentences!

#rosannewong BEACH CLEAN UP - SAI WAN 🧹 🧤 🧤

The last hiking trip to Sai Wan beach was two weeks ago and we were distressed and disgusted by the amount of rubbish, mainly plastic items along the coast. We have made a promise (as a family) to organise a beach clean up at Sai Wan beach and we did it yesterday. We couldn’t thank our friends and like minded buddies enough who have showed up for this beach clean up day.

Plastic bags, bottles, food containers (plastic and styrofoam) and food wrappers lying discarded along the streets and at the beach. Ultimately most of this waste ends up in the sea where it can choke fish, birds and sea creatures. This destroys the ocean’s ecosystem as sea creatures would eat bits of plastic and styrofoam mistakenly as their food and ends up back on our dining table via the seafood we eat.

Do you know PLASTIC takes about 450 YEARS or more to break down?? With this figure you could imagine how much plastic we have on earth now that is waiting at the recycling plants, which the volume can’t be handled hence overspill to landfill and ocean. Even after it does, it releases toxins into its surroundings, our earth (where we breathe, live and grow our food) and ocean (where all sea creatures live and where our seafood are derived from)

Earth is our home, she should be worthy of our dedicated care! Don’t wait until it’s too late to act, join us to save the planet that has given so much to us. We want children and future generations to be able to enjoy theWorld’s beautiful beaches, nature trails and country parks. EVERYONE CAN DO THEIR PART, yes EVERYONE and it starts from home:
1• Mindfully stop styrofoam usage
2• Mindfully reduce plastic usage
Solutions for 1 & 2 is to bring your own take away reusable containers, reusable straws (or don’t use straws at all) and reusable shopping bags.
3• Practice separation of plastic, paper and glass disposal and place it in the apartment’s recycling bins.

Lastly, if you don’t see a rubbish bin around, ALWAYS take your rubbish with you. IF ONLY we could all take care of our own rubbish, this world will be a very beautiful place for us all to live in and no one has to pick up other’s rubbish anymore.
