在我的表演生涯和領域中影響我最深的幾個魔術家有Johnny Thompson、Teller、Derren Brown...等等，他們都同時是業界最頂尖的表演者和思考家，影響了世上幾世代的魔術師們；
但是有2個更特別的人，遠在我小時候、還沒機會接觸魔術時期，光從書報上或節目片段就讓我深深嚮往著迷，也在他們各自的黃金年代震撼了全世界的家家戶戶，成為跨領域的現象級標誌人物，他們兩位就是Uri Geller和David Copperfield。
一位是引起全世界彎曲金屬湯匙風潮、擁有無數信徒的超能力者，一位是席捲全球的超級明星幻術師，在我心中他們的共同點是，都極度擁有難以形容的神秘和表演魅力，當他們一開口彷彿就是世界的中心，然後一次次地完成不可思議的現象，顛覆人們的邏輯和宇宙觀！小時候喜歡一切神秘事物的我還一度認定他們都是外星人...。
雖然現在已經離他們的巔峰年代有40年了，但他們當年的傳說故事還是有許多人、報章、紀錄片陸續探討報導，足見他們造成的風靡程度。

Kuala Lumpur, 29th Nov - When David Copperfield, the master magician himself, says you are talented, when our Prime Minister, Tun Mahatir says that you are very impressive, and the founder of Google Earth sums up your performance as fantastic, you're doing something right. Such has been the praise showered on Zlwin Chew, Malaysia's most gifted magician. Now he returns to Malaysian shores with his first theatre show, 'Life - A Magic Show by Zlwin Chew', on the 29th and 30th of November 2019 at The Gardens Theatre at 8:30pm.
"Magic can be found right where we live, in our hearts and in our minds," says Zlwin Chew.
People who know Zlwin, know that he is a magician of a different kind. He uses magic to inspire and to lend a sense of wonder to his audience. His shows aren't just to astonish, also to instil a believe in his spectators, that anything is possible.
Its going to be an hour and a half spectacle, where audience members will be mesmerized by the magical and mysterious ways of one of Malaysia's top magicians, Zlwin Chew. Using telekinesis, mentalism, levitation, and sleight of hand, he will be bending the laws of reality, as audiences struggle to define where reality ends magic begins.
"In the end, what I want people to take away from this show, is that the greatest and grandest magic show, is their very own lives," adds Zlwin Chew.

This was a fun project for me to do. The inspiration for this routine is from Shin Lim and Will Tsai. They created some of the most visual magic in the market, and i decided to have a little fun and fuse their style of magic togher and this is what i came up with.
