There's not much that I wish for this birthday. I only hope that the common dream that we all share as HKers will come true soon🙏
Found out last month that @offmenu.hongkong, organized by @tdininghk & @hongkongtatler, was held during my bday weekend. YOLO, take my money💸
The night featured Michelin-starred chefs🌟 as well as prestigious hotel restaurants like Amber and Petrus. So much fame and talent in one spot!
Indeed, the food was delectable😍 But, my parents and I all felt that it wasn't worth the buck😞 For that amount of money, we were not expecting an outdoor setting with no waiter service. Beautiful HK scenery🌆 but we had to stand around a cocktail table for the whole night, and poor Mama almost froze to death❄ Not to mention, the whole night was very un-ecofriendly: sure, most utensils were compostable; however, all cutlery and plates were quickly thrown away after one use😕 Can't even begin to imagine the amt of trash generated in one night.
To put it bluntly, the setting was cheap and gave us a feeling that the whole package was too overpriced. @ Peak Galleria 山頂廣場
