How do I train my abs? I never stick to one abs workout. I do standing abs HIIT, slow and controlled Mat workout for ABS, abs with socks / stability ball, with dumbbells, with gym machines.
All works on differently and yet it gives me the result that I want. There’s no one specific abs workout that promise a constant good abs line, that’s what I believe.
Sometimes add weights, can help to engage Core better, because you just simply have to activate the core, if not you won’t be able to do the exercise.
So let’s work on mid trunk on Saturday. Upper abs, lower abs, obliques......
Ready your yoga mat, and wear training shoes. Ready your weight 3-5kg. For those who are stronger you can try prepare 7kg for some of the exercise

學生Addison 一直都非常勤力
在年初因打網球肩膊受傷後訂下目標
要力量上升又能復健
因為膊頭連舉高過頭都有困難
而佢最愛動作Deadlift
亦一直卡住左
本來絕對有極足夠時間
可惜佢膊頭在年初就受傷
再加上中途封GYM加起來完全浪費最少4個月時間
單單舉起手都有困難 再加上GYM令影響
就算在recover exercise、strength training
都產生極大障礙
由於膊頭不穩定
首先會出現左右力量不平衡
同時於肩胛骨控制都受阻/ 減弱
絕對影響軀幹於Big lift中的穩定性
即係Core Strength/ Stability
在僅餘時間
我為佢回復其肩關節肌力、可動度、穩定性
同時有不能Back Squat/ Heavy Deadlift情況下
將腿部最大肌力保持再提升
亦需配會多種不對稱動作作為

在今個月就破了自己Deadlift紀錄
由當初95KG 再到120KG 終於到140KG

Conclusion! CORE is ❌ ABS!
CORE is the whole mid trunk of your body including your back.
We talked about:
1. *What are the common misconception about core?*
- the abs, the 6 packs
- crunches and sit ups strengthens the core
- core exercises reduces belly fat, or it's slimming
- activate by sucking in and holding your breath
2. *What is the core anyway?* 3. *Why is core so important?*
- Provide balance of your upper body and lower body
- Provide stability to your spine
4. *What happens if the core is weak and posture is bad?* 5. *What are some exercise you can do to train the core?*
- Diaphragmatic breathing
- Pelvic Tilt
- Alternate leg raises, with progression
- Bear Crawl
- Plank with breathing technique
Most of the exercises even your daily movement will need to engage core.
Strong core helps you to prevent injury and help in mobility too. Even for jogging or hiking, If you engage CORE, it will help you in those activities too.

40 types of variations to train your Abs & Core stability. You don't have to do all 40 of them in one session. Select 5 out of 40 and do them in a circuit format is good enough!
Note: This is not a spot-reduction video. Doing these exercises alone won't help you to get rid of your belly fat. Getting a defined six-pack ab is all about getting down to a low body fat level + a certain level of muscularity (your abdominal muscles). This routine only works if you train and eat right consistently (frequently up to 5 times a week), make sure you train every other body part with other bodyweight exercises or weights training.
The best and fastest way to achieve a defined six-pack ab is the combination with your diet, your day to day food routine. Cut down junk foods, and start eating more real/whole/healthy foods. It's not going to be easy and it's going to take some time. Be patient, and keep up the effort, and you will get there someday I promise. ;)

Join Venise: Today I am going to take you through a full body HITT workout that I love to do when I am at home. We will go through one set of 20 different exercises. Feel free to repeat and add on two to three sets depending on your fitness level. Each exercise is 30 seconds which you give your best and you only get 10 seconds in between. First we will work on our legs, core and then finally arms. Tennis player actually requires strong core and legs. These exercises help improve my stability, balance and tone up my body!
