When I came【Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel 九龍香格里拉】on 1st Jan 2021 for Japanese New Years Osechi 御節料理, if u recall, I already bought some Cinnamon rolls & Croissant 🥐 But I didn't realized then, that this is a new Bakery shop downstairs 🤔😧 because I have been buying Pastries from Kowloon Shang for many years, it's usually upstairs next to the Buffet 'Deli Kool' ~ I just assumed it moved downstairs. So anyway, since then I have eaten it quite a few times. Here are my favorite items:
•Berliner Donut! 😬 With a Caramelized crust, it's supple soft, and inside has a great tasting creme & rum flavor 🥃 Best thing lately & satisfies my cravings for Dean & DeLuca's Berliner
•Out of the croissants, the Harlequin Banana 🍌 is my favorite, which is also slightly alcoholic. The Plain Croissant 🥐 is always my favorite here for many years too..
•Cinnamon Roll. A bit bready type, surprisingly a retasting in February had higher Cinnamon aroma! Good direction
•Quiche is very good here
•*Fried Beef Curry Bun 咖哩牛肉包, I liked the bread texture, but wished it had more 餡料 fillings & could be a bit more spicier 😶
