最近滿多人分享了關於一個BBC的烹飪節目
一個女生做了個炒飯，因為做法不正宗，引起不少迴響
所以我點開了影片，看完之後發現，沒什麼問題啊⋯
why?
因為我還真看過不少英國人或外國人是這樣炒飯的
1. 他們的確都是在湯鍋裡加水直接煮飯
2. 他們的確都不知道洗米的原因與作用
3. 他們的確在煮完飯還都會把米拿去沖一沖
4. 他們大部分吃的米不是brown rice(糙米)就是basmatic(長米)
查了點資料，發現英國當地是無法種植稻米的（氣候太寒冷與乾燥），所以米都是進口來的，主要從印度與巴基斯坦而來，而平均一年英國人吃4.6公斤的米
反觀台灣平均一年就吃了50公斤的米（這還是米在近年來被朔造成容易發胖的原因之後），在之前台灣人年平均可是可以吃上80公斤的米！
整整十倍差距的食用米量，這多少會是他們不是很懂米料理的原因吧（笑

某次英國同事很好奇我們亞洲人如何煮飯，於是某次聚會辦在我家時，我從櫃子裡取出了「大同電鍋」
他們知道說我們有所謂的「大同電鍋」可以專門拿來煮飯這件事，感到相當好奇（笑
這件事就好比我看到他們拿煮熟的米拿去沖冷水是一樣的
問他們說為什麼，他們說這樣飯很燙啊，很黏啊bla bla bla
