【作品販售百萬鎂街頭塗鴉藝術家 靠這個行銷】
到荷蘭出差，趁著開會前的週日傍晚參觀匿名街頭塗鴉藝術家班克斯博物館。我個人認為班克斯不只是藝術家，是行銷高手，透過匿名的炒作、創意的巧思規劃，班克斯聲名大譟。
班克斯本人至今仍匿名，班克斯經常在英國街頭塗鴉，他/她以反諷時事、倡導和平著名。他/她的藝術品廣受歡迎，成為藝術市場的搶手貨，不少他/她塗鴉的牆被民眾敲下販售，最高拍賣上百萬美金。
你或許會跟我一樣好奇，至今沒人知道班克斯是誰，但是他/她的作品在拍賣市場高價，大家怎麼知道哪些是真的？原來班克斯雇用一群鑑定代表團，要是你有班克斯作品，寄個這個團體，如果是假品，會被當場銷毀；如果是真品，你會受到鑑定證明書，還有撕半張的「班克斯鈔」，而班克斯本人則會留下「班克斯鈔」的另一半。匿名的他還出了幾本書呢！
另外他/她還有畫作受到批判，他/她則半夜立刻修改，帶來不少話題。至今班克斯的身分仍是個謎，網路上有人流傳他是某幾個在藝術界活躍的藝術家，有人說他/她其實在2014年已經被逮捕，有人說其實是一個七個人的團體，不過至今沒有正式證實。
他在2014年也被阿雅也曾經得過的美國數位界的奧斯卡奬Webby評為年度風雲人物。
不論如何，我認為這樣的話題和炒作，必須說班克斯絕對有行銷天分！

Banksy is an anonymous England-based graffitiartist, political activist and film director of unverified identity. Their satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique. Banksy's works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world.
Like me, you may be curious how people know if what they have is real Banksey art work as Banksey is anonymous? Banksey has a group of agent representing him/her and you can send the piece you have to them. If is fake, they destroy right away; if is true, they send you a certificate along with half of Banksey bill and Banksey keeps another half as proof!
Banksy's name and identity remain unknown – it has been stated that the reason for this secrecy is that graffiti is a crime.
A commonly cited 2008 Mail on Sunday investigation of several former schoolmates and associates stated that the artist is believed to be Robin Gunningham, a former pupil at the public Bristol Cathedral School. This suggestion was corroborated in 2016 by a study of the locations in which Banksy's art has been found, which found that the incidence of Banksy's works correlated with the known movements of Gunningham.
There has also been speculation that Banksy is a team of seven artists. In October 2014, an internet hoax circulated that Banksy had been arrested and their identity revealed.
In 2014, Banksy was awarded Person of the Year at the 2014 Webby Awards.
I think Banksey is for sure a great PR and marketer who knows when and how to create buzz!
