Jasmine loves to write her own music and express her feelings. This song called No Man Could, is very special as she wrote about my father. He was someone who truly loved life. The last video was a clip when we walked 2 hours hiking up and down mountains in the dark, to Jasmine’s campsite to deliver her emergency needs and then 2 hours back, he felt the area was not safe for her, so the next morning he went again to pick her up. No matter how busy he was, he would drop it immediately for our needs. He was always the first one to offer rides, accompany us to doctors appointments etc. He was always our emergency contact. My father lived life to the fullest, most knowledgeable, and righteous man. He was always genuine and humble. Everyone who met him loved him. He had a shy personality but was never shy to show his love for us.

Remember God After You Have Prospered

“You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers. You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not. He humbled you, and allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know; that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth. Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years. You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you. You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey; a land in which you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper. You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you. Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today; lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses, and lived in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; then your heart might be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint; who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know; that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end: and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.” But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today.” (Deuteronomy 8:1-18 WEB)

The Lord gave me a word “scorpions” which led me to this passage.

I sense that a lot of us here have been through a long wilderness journey where we have been asking God “How long more,” and we are already close to entering our promised land.

As we are about to enjoy His marvelous restoration and multiplication of provision in our lives, in whatever way He has been leading you, REMEMBER HIM when you go into the land flowing with milk and honey.

Don’t forget all the precious lessons about humility and faith that you learned while in the dry wilderness.

Money can be destructive because the sinful flesh is tempted to make money its idol.

Keep your eyes on Jesus…

There is a reason why things take time. The preparation phase is needed so that you would be able to handle the sudden multiplication.

Despite all the tough times, God has always been faithful to you, and you are still alive. Give thanks to Him!

Under the New Covenant of Grace, to keep God’s commandments means to believe in Jesus Christ and to love one another as Christ has loved us. Will you allow yourself to continue being led by the Spirit to walk in love, even after you have prospered?

I say again, REMEMBER HIM. Okay, now go and possess your promised land. The Lord shall go before you, and you will approach it one step at a time with each passing day!

DUGAAN/UJIAN TANDA ALLAH SAYANG 🤍

Kehidupan di dunia ini penuh dengan ujian. Tanpa mengira sesiapa pun sama ada orang itu kaya atau miskin tetap ada ujiannya.

Setiap ujian yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan ini mampu menjadikan seorang insan itu lebih kuat dan tabah.

Tidak mungkin orang beriman akan memperoleh pahala dan nikmat syurga tanpa sebarang ujian dan kesusahan. Cuma yang membezakan antara manusia adalah bentuk ujian yang diterima

Firman Allah SWT dalam al-Quran bermaksud: “Patutkah manusia menyangka bahawa mereka akan dibiarkan dengan hanya berkata: ‘Kami beriman, sedang mereka tidak diuji (dengan sesuatu cubaan)? Dan demi sesungguhnya, Kami menguji orang yang terdahulu daripada mereka, maka (dengan ujian yang demikian), nyata apa yang diketahui Allah orang yang sebenar-benarnya beriman dan nyata pula apa yang diketahui-Nya orang yang berdusta.’” (Surah al-Ankabut, ayat 2-3)

Ayat al-Quran itu menjelaskan fitrah orang beriman pasti akan diuji Allah SWT. Bagi memastikan iman seseorang hamba benar-benar kukuh kepada Allah SWT, maka ujianlah yang dapat menentukannya.

Ujian bukan saja dirasai orang yang lemah dan miskin, ia juga melanda orang yang kuat dan kaya. Itulah fitrah kehidupan yang ditentukan Allah SWT.

Sebenarnya, ujian dapat mendekatkan diri seseorang Muslim kepada Allah SWT. Tidak ada tempat selayaknya diharapkan pertolongan selain kepada Allah SWT.

Umat Islam tidak boleh rasa lemah dan putus asa tatkala menerima ujian dalam kehidupan. Jauh sekali menyalahkan takdir Ilahi. Yakinlah, setiap ujian itu akan hadir bersamanya hikmah yang besar sekiranya dilalui dengan sabar dan berikhtiar menyelesaikannya.
