【#星期五樂城】他的聲音裏有煙，也有糖。留意開香港獨立音樂的，都不會對民謠唱作人 Jabin Law 感到陌生。出過數張專輯，最新一張《A BITE OF HELL》，就在世界最荒誕的2019年末推出，詞曲承載着城市的荒涼和壓抑，而希望如星火，在黑暗中明明滅滅。陷入絕望，好些時候，卻仍可以在破敗的窗框縫隙裏，發現一瓣月光。

受巴布迪倫（Bob Dylan）音樂哲學和90年代另類搖滾薰陶，Jabin自2012年開始，已創作超過百首作品。忠於自己，每張專輯每個環節：作曲、作詞、編曲、監製、混音，Jabin通通一手包辦。有清苦的煙圈，也有空靈的草動風吹，很重很重，又很輕很輕。

「近年香港發生了很多令人非常沮喪的事，相信大部分人都對自己的未來沒有甚麼希望。」有段日子，和多數香港人一樣，Jabin感覺世界下起不會停息的雨，陽光是怎樣的模樣，亦幾近遺忘。某天聽Nina Simone時，〈I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free〉清亮地迴響：「我發現無論任何文化背景的人，所追求的自由都是一樣的。」他在心裏，提醒自己要記緊每句歌詞，特別是：
